I do hybrid work full-time and after 9-5, I work as a content creator. That means a big chunk of my daily life is spent on my desk. For me, it was a no-brainer to make my home office cozy and efficient.

The best home office accessories only make sense when they’re functional and high quality. Below is a list of some of my favorite pieces.
A standing electric desk is a modern ergonomic solution designed to enhance comfort and productivity in the workplace. With adjustable height settings, it allows users to seamlessly transition between sitting and standing positions, promoting a healthier and more dynamic work environment. My favorite Amazon find might arguably be my Standing Desk which cost me under 150 Euro.
My ergonomic beige office chair is not just a piece of furniture; it’s my daily companion that is aesthetic, comfortable, and stylish. The soothing beige color adds a touch of warmth to my workspace, creating a cozy environment for me to work. I can literally sit on this chair for hours!
Proper home office lighting is crucial for creating a productive work environment. Natural light is ideal, so position your desk near a window if possible, as it helps reduce eye strain. When using artificial lighting, opt for LED or daylight-toned bulbs to simulate natural light and reduce glare on screens. Task lighting directed onto your workspace helps prevent eye fatigue and improves focus. I also have a hanging standing lamp in my home office to ensure an overall well-lit room, especially in wintertime when there is not much sunlight.
A home office filing cabinet is an essential organizational tool, providing a designated space to store and access important documents efficiently. There was not much space to fit in a big filing cabinet in my small home office so I instead went for a small filing cabinet with drawers and a similar color theme so nothing looks out of place.
1. Wireless Charging Station – I despise untangling the cord of chargers. Especially as content creators, we always need to charge multiple devices effectively to ensure proper workflow hence this one product can literally save you tons of frustration.
2. Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo – my keyboard and mouse combination is my most used item. The best thing about it is that it is controlled with one USB mini dongle that saves space and hassle.
3. USB C Adapter Docking Station – using a Macbook comes with its challenges, not having a port means that no work can be done without having an Adapter. As I work with my laptop and a monitor, the HDMI port is a lifesaver.
4. Monitor Stand and Laptop Stand – this stand is so aesthetically pleasing and it raises my laptop level so I do not have to hunch. Definitely a must-have for your desk.
5. Desk Mat / Deskpad – this desk pad is sturdy and comes in a ton of different colors. I obviously went for a neutral blush pink color. It ties my desk together and also protects it from scratches.
6. Gel Pen / Soft Case Pen – this is one piece that you necessarily do not have to own but I just find them to be cohesive with my color theme and they look so different and cute!
7. Pen Holder – of course, it had to have a neutral color with gold accents. it is so pleasingly noticeable on my desk and I never get tired of looking at it.
MY TIP:Â Start with less and then work your way toward more. In my opinion, unnecessarily cluttering is counterproductive. Start with only a Desk, Chair, Keyboard, and a few necessary accessories and you can always add more as you go.
